Vision Statement
“The battle of trust” is a short documentary film that explores with movement the roller coaster human relationship with trust. The ups and downs of trusting are evidenced in daily moments of change by believing in ourselves, in media, in law, in religion and in family. We are always trusting life`s uncertainty.
In only 3 days, using only cellphones, we challenged working apart to connect two visions from Lebanon and Germany. With this project we won the fist price of the “Most Creative Concept” on the in Hack a Doc 2020 “Content Convention” hosted by ZDF.

Motivation
–A visual form of sharing the relationship between Trust in human society. (community through media).
– Express through movement/dancing the rollercoaster of feelings of the love/hate link that we have when we trust, the government, the system, our family members, and other examples shown in the audiovisual piece.
– Challenge our creativity and skills on reaching our goal in a limited time and doing it only with our phones.

Co/ direction with this amazing Creative Director
Eliane Eid
Eliane is a performing artist and digital narrator/creator. Her focus is on Middle Eastern youth and women’s empowerment. She believes that proper representation within artistic projects makes the world more aware of social and political issues. Eid is also involved in theater and academic dancing with a focus on contemporary and jazz dance. She holds a BA in Communication Arts and an MA in Digital Narratives, where both of her theses tackled topics related to Middle Eastern women and theories of representation.
