Productive diversification, and fair trade agreements are leading sustainable projects in rural areas in Ecuador

Smaller producers in Ecuador and private companies from the European Union are collaborating to create sustainable projects with environmental criteria.

To support these initiatives, GIZ EC (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) has build a Development Cooperation Program (CDP) called DeveloPPP.de. Private companies interested in investing in development countries to promote a sustainable future can participate in the Ideas competition.

My mission

The goal of these audiovisual projects was to showcase the positive impact of these commercial partnerships.

These commercial partnerships offer opportunities for smaller producers to enhance the quality of their products, diversify their production strategies, and receive fair compensation for their efforts. Through this program, smaller producers and private companies can work together to promote sustainable practices and improve the economic well-being of local communities.

To showcase the impact of these projects, we have created two videos featuring experiences from two regions of Ecuador. Our goal is to visually demonstrate the positive outcomes of the DEveloPPP.de program and inspire others to participate in this sustainable development initiative.
